ABOUT US
The Tyne and Wear Dressage Championships were created by dressage rider Heather Finlay . Heather felt the north east needed a boost to events and wanted to support grass level riders from lead rein up to the higher levels .
Since its creation Tyne and Wear Dressage has developed over time to now being one of the most popular dressage series in the north east attracting competitors from all levels and abilities . In 2022 Sharon Elkington joined the team and together we have some very exciting plans to develop dressage in the north east even further .

We have some great talent in the north east and we feel it is so important to give riders in this area a chance to develop and experience a real championship experience whatever their goals .
